Off on another adventure! We spent last night on a campsite in Abbey Wood so that we could get the bus in to Greenwich to see Callum and Jordan. Had a great evening with plenty of Prosecco 🤣🥂then the long bus ride home.

The dawn chorus was quite amazing to say we were in London – loads of green parakeets flying around too.

Today’s plan was to get to Newhaven, ready for the ferry tomorrow, and then have a walk. Things changed somewhat when the oven started rattling in its housing. There’s always something! A few circuits of Brighton later, we landed at Screwfix to purchase the smallest screwdriver in the world. Sadly, there was nowhere suitable to park, so we carried on along the coast to Newhaven.

Covid tests done, certificates received, we finally went for a walk at 4pm. Followed the coast to Seaford. It was very dark and very windy on the way back, but seven miles felt like a reasonable achievement. 😬

  1. Hi Claire, hope you’re both ok. We’re off to see Guy’s parents for a few days then a circuit of Spain hopefully. Just at the ferry now …still hyperventilating from having to find all the test/vaccine stuff on my phone 😂
