An early start for Guy today as he had arranged to go on an organised bike ride, similar to the British Sportive type event in that it’s not a race …allegedly. Thing is, he had the wrong type of bike for it so had to hire one. A gravel bike no less, bet that’s on his next essential items for Christmas list! 😂 I think he enjoyed it as there were about thirty riders out and he came back drenched in sweat as usual.

This afternoon, we walked around the coast in the opposite direction to yesterday. Just twenty minutes around a spectacular path through a few tunnels brings you to El Golfet beach. The first time we came across this place I thought we’d found paradise and even today on a cool breezy April afternoon it’s still a “Wow!” moment. Sat down for a while watching the sea and then did a small bit of snoring. 😬

Drama back at the van this evening when the hot tap stopped working in the kitchen. Guy decided it was something to do with a micro switch and one quick YouTube video later, open tap surgery was performed. A cable had snapped and of course, we didn’t pack the soldering iron 😉so a bit of superglue and white electrical tape was used as a substitute. Hey Presto – it works! It definitely couldn’t have been done without the all important torch holder person though.
