Well, it rained in the middle of the night – actually it was about 6am so most people would probably call it morning. The non-spun duvet cover and sheets were never going to dry out properly on a journey to Turkey. We’d only got one nights worth of lev left in cash and didn’t want to change anymore. Luckily the campsite takes cards so we were ok to stay another day. Just hope he doesn’t change his mind tomorrow 😬
The sun came out and the weather was back to normal by the time we surfaced properly. I think we did the best thing though as Guy has driven every day since we left home. We did a bit of cleaning this morning as there’s a tap on the pitch, so Guy washed the outside of the van while I did inside.
The campsite seems to be brand new – not cheap by Bulgarian standards but really well equipped, clean and tidy.
Went to the beach late afternoon and I had another swim. Unfortunately the rain seemed to have brought all the seaweed in and it was like swimming in soup! Gave up quickly when I saw a jellyfish 😂
May be radio silence tomorrow when we reach Turkey unless we find WiFi.
