A return to this natural park today about 50 km north of Malaga. It’s a vast, high plateau of glaciated limestone formations – like being on another planet!

Drove across from Granada calling at Lidl along the way to supplement remaining fridge contents then parked up and ate everything in sight..must be the fresh air! 🤣
There are walking routes all around this place and today I was persuaded to do the ‘moderate route’ rather than the easy one.

It was, surprisingly ok. No badge or trophy though, which is a little disappointing! Last time we were here it was pouring with rain and very slippery, and we were completely alone. Today was a different story – the car park was full.
With so many people around we didn’t expect to see the Ibex but they came out to greet us just as we set off. Such lovely creatures and so agile, they even climb trees! The big boss with the big horns and beard was really funny, just sitting on a rock really high up surveying his herd.

Nice and warm in the sunshine and beautiful blue skies, it was a lovely afternoon.
Disappearing for a few days now as we are doing a (literally) flying visit back home for a friend’s funeral. Back in Malaga on Wednesday at stupid o clock!
