Can’t remember the last time we stayed this long on a campsite, but this one is pretty special and the weather is amazing for October.
Had a morning walk (joined by local dog) past all the little restaurants to check if our next house is still standing 😉
Yes, it is, but probably needs lifting up out of the water and putting on stilts – sure it’s dry in the summer anyway 🤣
There are quite a few flood barriers around the houses – I bet it’s nerve wracking being right at sea level when the big rain comes.
Guy got his boots and fins out for morning swim – made me think of the first time we went on holiday together. He turned up at Mum & Dads and said can you put these fins in your suitcase!? 🙄🙄🙄They weren’t even in a bag and smelt fishy – at that time I would have had my nice holiday clothes neatly packed, shoes in bags etc
I think they got shoved in despite my protestations!
Anyway, there’s loads of fish but they’re all little ones.
Quite hot again this afternoon. Another big swim, then a bit of snoring from both parties on the beach. It’s a hard life!
