A little bit overcast this morning, so we went in search of the local grocery shop on the main road. Got a few bits n bobs but no fresh fruit or vegetables..we were just about to pay when we realised they were all outside!
Had a walk towards Kala Nera again, and discovered another little port and strip of beach. There was a huge boat propped up on the shore as if ready to have work done but doesn’t look like it’s been touched in years …maybe a project someone got bored with!

There are lots of new villas being built on the hillside here – they’ll be spectacular when finished but must be costing a fortune to build.
Back at the campsite, today’s entertainment was a giant creaking green lorry trying to get onto one of the pitches. It seems to be a bit of a German fashion to convert lorries into living accommodation – we can’t work out the advantage of it, other than being able to carry more diesel and water.

More swimming in the afternoon, then this evening, the campsite dog chose us as her new owners for the day. Seems to be bilingual like everyone else here – she knows sit, down, and stay. Guy was like a male Barbara Woodhouse practicing his training skills up and down the path. Will work for Serrano ham!

Lots of cricket type things around today – one particular specimen trying to look like a stick burst into life and landed on Guy. I’d still be running now if it had been me! 🤣
