Guy spotted a green lizard on the tree this morning. It was quite big with a very long tail – maybe it could be his new pet? Easier than a dog.

Another big lorry thing that’s been parked next to us all week was getting ready to go this morning. “Off home to Germany?”says Guy. “No, we’re actually on our way to Saudi Arabia via Iraq” came the reply!
We were so shocked, but now the big lorry thing makes sense.
Guy admitted that he was quite jealous 🙄- for the record, it’s a definite NO from me! 🤣
Strange, but it always seems that people from other parts of Europe can get insurance to go virtually anywhere.
We ‘think’ this is our last day here but as it’s still like mid summer, we might toss a coin in the morning!
Went out for dinner as it ‘could’ be our last night. Fabulous fresh sea bream (had to go in the kitchen and pick a raw one!) at a place called Kyma. The chef told us that this weather is very unusual in October and now sometimes it rains in the summer which used to be a very rare event. He said there’s a very big rich/poor divide in the country and he sells fish all day in Volos then cooks it in the restaurant at night – must be exhausting!
