A bit of faffing around today with a pit stop at Lidl first as we were running out of drinking water.
Then, on to Saint-Rémy, where there was a difficult parking meter to negotiate – I somehow managed to get a free 40 minute ticket while we had lunch, then Guy somehow paid for a further 90 minutes..you’ve never seen so many little buttons and keypads!
Saint-Rémy was really beautiful but one of those places where the shops see you coming and the restaurants are only for the rich and famous or wanabees 🤣 I think we may have sat in one of the lovely squares though and had a drink, were it not for a very keen busker murdering an Amy Winehouse song! 🤣

Another pit stop at Decathlon next hoping to find some gas cylinders for the little stove we sometimes use outside. None for sale, but luckily Mr Bricolage had some further down the road.
Back down to the Camargue mid afternoon, but down to the bottom of the other ‘prong’ this time, to the wild and very windy Plage de Piémanson. It is, however, much wilder and windier today than we expected!
No dip in the sea for me then. Instead, we tried to walk, but got our legs exfoliated, so tried going inland a little to see the flamingoes. Quite a few around – must be the right time of year.
