Fairly quiet night considering we were just in a big lay-by really. Guy wanted to drive back to Pluzine or Pludine …whatever it’s called, to have a look at the road we drove down in daylight. It was just a cliff face really with a shelf cut into it – just wide enough for a motorhome and two idiots! Beautiful blue lake at the bottom though. When we pulled in, there was a chap selling honey that had passed us last night – not sure what bonkers is in Croatian but sure he said something like that. Drove on the “main” road towards Niksic; it was still quite mountainous but was twice as wide as yesterday’s track. The heavens opened and it absolutely bucketed down, to the point where we decided to pull over and have lunch. Once it eased off, we seemed to be back in Kotor Bay in no time so decided to drive back into Croatia as it was still miserable weather. Quiet at the border so more or less straight through. Called at Cavtat on the way back as we’d missed it going south. Don’t think they really want motorhomes there as we were turned away from one car park and warned not to camp at the next. A lot of big hotels round the bay but nice views and the sun was out. We came back to Camping Kate in the end which is now full to bursting with motorhomes…think we got the last spot!
