Went for a walk on the fab beach where we were parked along with several other motorhomes this morning. Rufus even chased the ball a couple of times. It was very wild and windy. Further along the coast we stopped at Praia da Adraga, another little cove within the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. We missed a castle at Sintra though along the way. ☹️ Stopped at a motorhome service point to sort the water etc – it was in the middle of nowhere but one of the cleanest we’ve come across. There do seem to be a lot more facilities for motorhomes as we get further north. Inland a bit to Mafra, to look at a huge convent come military place. We parked up and then the heavens opened….and they’ve stayed open all afternoon. Had our lunch watching people fight with umbrellas ☔️ blowing inside out. Spent the rest of the afternoon driving up the coastal road to Peniche which is famed for its Supertubos pipeline surfy thing. We’ve parked on a really windy headland for the night watching the horizontal rain while Rufus gets some 💤’s in.
