Another day to rest from the 2417 miles of driving we’ve done in the last two weeks. 😬Got the two loads of washing in, then took our chairs to the beach for an hour. It suddenly got quite hot and my legs were taking on that ‘stood in front of the fire too long’ appearance, so we had to come back.
A poor German man opposite came back in a taxi this morning dressed in his pyjamas. His wife said they’d gone to the ‘krankenhaus’ in the night ..suspected kidney stones. He seemed ok this morning and was happily chatting with the campsite staff but must have been a bit scary for them.
Whilst we’ve idled about all day, the campsite has steadily filled up with mainly Dutch people. The restaurant opposite us is full of life now and they have some live Greek music on.

We’ve had a little walk to the next village, Kato Nero. Everything is gradually opening up for the season ahead. There is much hosing down and chair wiping to be done. Meanwhile, dogs and cats are in abundance, wandering aimlessly hoping for a scrap to eat or just a bit of company. Saw horses, chickens and goats too on our way back.

Definitely cooled down now ..you can tell it’s still spring in the evenings.
