Nantes to Ile d’Oleron

Did a bit of a detour to visit this island today. Made our way to Boyardville so that we could see Fort Boyard (off of the tele 😂)…just a lump in the sea in the distance. Found another France Passion site so another free night parked between the grape vines…only polite to have a degustation and purchase a drop more! Walked to the beach at La Cotiniere in search of coffee but was forced to eat oysters accompanied by white wine instead. Not sure what I think to them but they did taste very fresh. Nearly choked on the third one but Guy managed to consume six and has a new best friend ie the stall holder. Rufus was exhausted after his trip to the beach and is now snoring loudly.
