Well, it was definitely another wedding last night, with all the accompanying music and late night/early morning car horns. I think the police came and stopped the boy racer in the end before he shredded his tyres completely.
We walked into the town via one long straight road that took us about an hour. As expected, it was a lovely white washed seaside town that’s quite scruffy and crumbly around the edges.

As it was ruled by the Spanish for a long time, there are still a lot of hotels and restaurants that wouldn’t be out of place in Andalucia.
Certainly, the town’s main plaza – Place de la Liberation, with its tiled fountain and palm trees looks a lot like the one in Vejer de la Frontera.

We had coffee watching the world go by, and for the first time, I actually saw three women sat at a table together – amazing. I have only seen men in cafes all the way through Morocco.
We walked down past an old fort and up into the medina which was fairly quiet and had quite wide streets.

Had tapas at the Casa Manolo which was lovely, but we’d over ordered in our excitement and had to bring back the tortilla in a doggy bag.
Walked down to the port, through the newer part of town, then back along the main road for what seemed like miles ..I think it was three!🤣

Later on, thought we’d have the tortilla for tea. In my head, a Spanish tortilla would have potatoes and maybe red pepper in it. This one, weirdly, seemed to have a few prawn shells in it 😬…tried, but couldn’t eat it. Hoping it doesn’t make us ill. 🤢
