Today we’ve come further east and slightly south as it’s the only good road. Not much to see along the way apart from fields, lorries and trees. Stopped at a hypermarket for coffee. There were some Mcvities chocolate digestives in there billed at ‘Britain’s favourite biscuits’, think they were really expensive but still struggling to work out the conversion 🙄 Had lunch at a service station. It was very humid causing all the grass verges to smell of wee (the men’s toilet)!! There was a field full of crosses – one for each person that had died on the motorway…eek! 8E919AF0-287C-4277-AED6-83EBEBE14624Arrived in Olomouc to a graffitied scruffy looking campsite – it’s ok though, as it’s actually an outdoor adventure type place so loads of family’s around. Walked into the city ..on a par with Prague but much smaller and less busy. Loads to see but rain was threatening all the time. Spent the last of our Czech Koruna on two coffees as tomorrow we’re heading into Poland. Wenceslas Cathedral was pretty stunning …although I don’t know when he ‘last looked out’ but no sign of him today! Walked back only to turn around and take Rufus a walk by the river. 5 miles today -that’s an extra glass of wine 🍷😉! Guy decided to try out the showers not realising they were token operated. Once covered in soap he streaked from shower to shower using the last drops of everyone else’s water 💦! He’s nothing if not resourceful.
