Woke up at 3am when the lads next door returned …well, the lads all bar Johnny, who was missing! They set about speculating what had happened to him and how had he managed to pull in that state. 😂 …in the end, their concern waned as they all fell into a drunken stupor! Fortunately Rufus slept through the commotion. We got up late and took Rufus a walk to the park next door then sorted out where to get the bus into town. It came dead on time and we were told to pay at the machine half way down the bus. We couldn’t really work it out and only bought one ticket, possibly none! Loads of people seemed to get on and not bother, so coming back we did the same! It got very hot and humid in the city centre. We walked around Wawel Castle which was by the river…loads of families about. There was a dragon sculpture (Smok Wawelski) which breathed fire 🔥 every few minutes much to the children’s delight. 5751ADD7-2BFE-4489-8DCF-CCC25ADBD9B3Went into the main market square – all seemed a bit brash really …some nice buildings but nothing like Olomouc or Prague. The interior of St Mary’s Basilica was unbelievable inside – so colourful – think that was the best bit. 6977362C-38FA-477E-B29D-071CBCBF5C49Walked (staggered) on to the Jewish quarter and had a coffee then followed the river all the way back to the bus stop. Another 5 – 6 miles today ..sore feet!

    1. Yep. We’re fine thanks. Just seen your post on the salt mines. They are amazing, aren’t they. We even managed to stay overnight in the carpark along with 5 French campers. Sounds like you’re having a great time. Still heading to Croatia?

  1. That’s probably where we parked. Was going to spend the night there but we are meeting up with a friend in Slovakia tomorrow so thought we’d better get some miles done today. Good job we did as we drive round in circles for an hour or so… never leave the main road😄😄😳
