Had a walk along the river this morning and in to Hainburg an der Donau. Quiet little town with, as usual, a nice church! We decided we couldn’t face Vienna today – think we’ve got city fatigue! So, we’ve come slightly south west of Vienna in to the wienerwald (Vienna woods!). Feels like the middle of nowhere but very peaceful. We were welcomed to the campsite by the scary Frau miserable – think her first word to us was ‘document’! She was very proud of the bathrooms though ‘Alles neu – granite’ very impressive. 😂 Everything is super green – especially the giant cricket thing that landed on Rufus’ bed. It’d better stay out of my bed or I’m outta here pronto! 
It was very hot this afternoon so took Rufus a walk through the meadows once it cooled down. Wild crocus’(I think) everywhere. Mushroom Risonni for dinner (the master chef 👩🍳 strikes again) washed down with some German white. 🥂
