More Palamós

Decided to stay another day even though we are packed in like sardinas! It’s very cheap, and there are very few proper campsites open yet, so this place is raking in the money with about 90 places at €13 per night. It was only 6 degrees when Guy went cycling this morning. All the Spaniards were saying how cold it was too. The boys rang up and I got the Mother’s Day treat of listening to Jordan’s band having their new single played on BBC Introducing last night. 👍👍👍
Late afternoon we walked into Palamós the long way round. I started off with vest, thermal top, wool jumper and coat. We got to the seafront, sat down for a drink and the sun suddenly got hot so the top three layers came off. The waitress seemed to remember Guy from the other day – ‘that bloke that keeps asking for more crisps and olives ‘cos his wife doesn’t feed him!’🤣 An hour later, with all the layers back on, we walked back with the easterly breeze causing us to do it in double quick time!
