Here we are again! Off on another adventure but not sure where or for how long in these uncertain times. Heading towards the French Alps first and will then be guided by Covid hotspot avoidance. We seem to have the perfect means to social distance with the motorhome and I think if we keep away from crowds, all should be ok.

Good trip down to the Chunnel after the usual madness of emptying the contents of the house. Couldn’t get on an earlier slot so had to wait about an hour for our booked slot. The car park was virtually empty and the shops looked desolate. Plenty of cars in the queue to get on though (not sure where they came from). Something had gone wrong with the loading and all the high vehicles were having to do a three point turn to get on the train. The main driver hasn’t lost his touch thankfully.

Parked up in special motorhome parking in the lovely village of Esqelbecq. It’s so quiet you could hear a pin drop….or an owl hoot, or church bells donging. Still very warm. Had dinner outside and now just wondering if we might melt in there without a fan!
