Wednesday 28th July

After a quick coffee with Mairi this morning, we set off for Lyme Regis. Took about an hour and was a much more relaxing drive for the husband…another day of Devon’s narrow lanes would’ve tipped him over the edge.

Lyme Regis is lovely – a bit overcrowded today but we expected that. A proper old seaside town with lovely buildings and a harbour wall called The Cobb. Very windy walking along it this afternoon. Carried on across the rock strewn beach to Charmouth and then came back along the road through some woods.
Think the sea air got to us as we both fell asleep till 7:30 🙄
