Ledbury

Not a great start to a trip! After staying overnight in a paddock at Hilton (Don Amott’s Motorhomes), we took our van in at 8am to get the grill fixed. Luckily, it was warm and almost sunny this morning so we set off for a walk.

I’d been promised brunch in the Salt Box Cafe in Hatton. Guy was talking about smoked salmon bagels etc….it turned out to be a greasy spoon! 😂Fortified with fried everything we completed an eight mile circuit just as they rang to say the grill was fixed.

It wasn’t fixed, and they’d scratched the freezer door for good measure. 🙄😡We’ve come away, once again, with a temporary fix and more damage.

Then, the engine oil light came on so had to stop for oil.

Good run down towards the Malverns then the rain started! All car parks had ‘no motorhomes’ signs even though they were empty.

Stopped for half a hour in Ledbury so that we could get soaked in ‘that fine rain’ – beautiful little town though.

On to Ross-on-Wye, where we’ve parked by the river. No restrictions that we can see, so fingers crossed it’ll be ok.

More pictures tomorrow – low signal
