Staying here for five days we think….cos there’s a big discount on the nightly rate if we do.👍There was a whole chorus of dogs barking last night…it was like “Sound the alarm” from 101 Dalmations! Fortunately Rufus was too tired to join in. Guy went for a proper bike ride today and managed to get lost near the end (or so he says!). Apparently, half way round there were about a dozen missing manhole covers -anything could have happened. Wonder if the Ehic card covers sewer rescues. Don’t think Rufus and I would’ve done a very good job as ‘bombadiers ‘ in our motorhome rescue tender. Found a patch of sun to sit in whilst Rufus slept in the shade. This afternoon we’ve walked down into Alvor, had a look around the old town which according to the book retains some of its original character. Think the karaoke at the Irish Pubs might detract from this a little 😂. Wandered out to the beach and then back to the campsite. Rufus was asleep in seconds and we’ve just had to wake him up to bring him in – much to his acute displeasure!
