A lovely quiet night, getting cool around 6am – had to fish the duvet out! Had a Sunday rest day today.
Walked along the beach for a while this morning and discovered loads of caravans and tents etc. They look like permanent set ups with families probably coming to enjoy weekends and holidays. They were all really friendly and waved hello. On our way back, one lady even came out with a bottle of cold water for us!
Had a sort of swim – the water is warm, but really shallow for miles. Hid in the shade of the van till we dare venture back out in the hot sun mid afternoon.
Ate dinner outside again; although in a car park really, no-one is bothered about our table and chairs being out. Guy was on dog watch, looking for the two strays that came along last night. One was as big as a horse!
Dark now, just the sound of crickets and distant music from the empty beach bar down the road.
