Arenberg

Fairly quiet night considering we were parked next to a train line. Got up earlyish as we had to find another site to fill up with water because the tap wasn’t working. Called at Lidl along the way to stock up as once parked in Arenberg we wouldn’t be able to move until Sunday afternoon. As we drove out Guy started driving up the wrong side of the road. He was horrified and thinks it’s the first time he’s ever done it. Seemed even more horrified when I told him I’d done it in England! 😂 When we arrived in Arenberg for the Paris Roubaix bike race on Sunday, the car park was already nearly full – couldn’t believe it – it’s only Friday! We counted up 160 motor homes! Guy’s had a little bike ride and as it was nice and sunny we sat outside after walking Rufus. There’s a stage set up at the top end of the car park and so far there’s been a BMX event on and now there’s live music 🎵 of the beatbox variety belting out to all these silver haired motorhomers!
