Back to Bruges

Not far from home now! Seems really strange. Got stuck in a proper traffic jam this morning as there was a road closure then a 6km tunnel under the water to get to the Belgian border. Google maps was trying all sorts of tricks to put us off the main route.
Stopped at Lidl for a stock up before finally landing at the Minnewater Motorhome Park in Bruges. We came here last year and it’s perfectly placed for visiting the town. Callum and Jordan are due to arrive late afternoon tomorrow but we wanted to make sure we got a place for the weekend so we’re a little early.
Our intention was to get the van cleaned properly inside, before our return home. Thing is, the sun came out so we abandoned it, walked into town and sampled some beer. 🍻Well, actually, that’s a lie. I asked for wine in a beer drinkers Mecca…”Pinot Grigio – take it or leave it” came the reply! 🤣 Forgotten how lovely Bruges is and it’s seems like we missed out half of the town last time we were here! 🙄
Back at base now. Fuzzy head. No cleaning completed.🤪
