We didn’t really fancy driving far today, but our legs weren’t working either 😬
Tried Playa Levante, which was only about a mile away and still in La Línea. There was good parking right at the side of the beach but, getting a bit picky here, the sand was a bit grey and it was all a bit flat and boring.
We drove back round to the Atlantic coast and on to the beautiful Bolonia beach, which has a huge sand dune and clear blue sea.
We’ve parked here for a couple of days out of season before, facing the sea along with several others but today, it wasn’t to be. There are now height barriers everywhere.
Fortunately, we found a small car park just back from the beach. It had three or four Spanish motorhomes in, so assuming this is the new ‘ok’ place to park.
It was warm and sunny so we’ve had a lovely afternoon by the sea, watching a few surfers.

Lots of different birds tweeting in the trees so Guy has been entertaining himself with the zoom lens.

Later on, back in the car park, whilst cooking dinner, our neighbours (four of them in a motorhome ), decided to get their tables and chairs out plus cooking equipment. This is a big ‘no-no’ classed as ‘exhibiting camping behaviour’ 😄
Minutes later, the police arrived. We held our breath, expecting them to move everyone on, but it was ok thankfully. We think they were just told to put their stuff away and quieten down, as that’s what happened. We were quite pleased really as they were getting a bit loud.
