We were so stupid with the nearly dry washing last night. My phone said no rain and sunny in the morning. There was too much to bring in and fold, so we left it out.
10:30 – it rains a bit, 11pm, it poured down 🙄 Could have cried!
Not much breeze today but a bit of sun this morning. We did a load of much needed cleaning, had lunch, then went for a walk.
Isla Cristina has a huge sandy beach backed by dunes, the town however, is full of dog poo! I’ve never seen so much – it was every two steps. We walked around the outside edge past several heaps of rubbish. One dustbin even had a settee and chair next to it!
The town itself was a grid of narrow streets with quite a nice square in the centre which was buzzing with people eating and drinking.
We stopped to get some cash out in preparation for Portugal but the machine didn’t pay out! 😠We can see that it’s pending on the account so had to ring the bank ..hopefully it’ll get sorted.
Walked back along the beach which was thankfully, cleaner than the streets and had lots of shells and sea birds.
Folded all the clothes when we got back and put them away. Just hoping they’re dry enough not to smell of rainwater.
