Busy day running around with two and a half weeks worth of washing. Managed to get it all pegged out only for the heavens to open so we had to bring it all in again!
Trying to avoid using the dryer we went for a second attempt in the afternoon …then we gambled one step too far and went for a walk down by the sea.
It’s a beautiful stretch of coastline here – all rocky coves and sandy beaches. The industrial port of Sines is the only thing that mars the horizon to the north.

We followed the path for quite a way and then came back via the road as it started to rain. Just as we joined said road, we were met with a field containing several ostrich. Bit random, but it made the photographer very happy on a rainy day. What big feet they have!!

The washing was almost back to square one upon our return so we had to make use of the nuclear heated tumble drier. I’m not expecting anything to fit now – I can’t say it’s even clean really despite a 48 minute slosh around in some heavily scented water.
