Rufus was quite perky this morning when he had a walk around the parking spot, then he got his wobbly leg so went back to sleep. We walked up the hill to Frias …the air was really cold; could tell we were up in the mountains. The town was lovely with a really good 16th century castle hanging on to the cliff edge. (Thanks for the recommendation Jo!) Walked around the ramparts and up to the top for spectacular views. Stopped for coffee by an old bridge on the way out of town and then drove over the hills towards Burgos. Lidl stop for a few provisions and lunch, then motorway towards Madrid. Couldn’t really find an interesting stopping point so we’ve headed slightly west towards the Valley of the Fallen which we’ll probably visit tomorrow. Passed loads of nesting storks along our route – huge things …don’t know how they manage to balance up in the trees.72D1B969-49FB-4960-9E18-5DF5FF8E0680 Parked now in a dedicated motorhome space in a mountain town called Boalo. All the kids are on the park behind us with their ghetto blasters on full bore. Hopefully they’ll all need an early night! 🤣
