And that’s about all we’ve done today! Spent the morning cleaning after getting up very late. Guy decided it was more important to get the long lens out and photograph the surfers about half a mile away. Thought we deserved a reward for our efforts, so when the sun came out we set off for the town.

It was very busy with families in the cafes and restaurants, but at nearly 2pm most people seemed to be on coffees or just finishing a bottle of wine. Found a nice place on the harbour with the challenge of a totally Spanish menu. Didn’t seem right to ‘google translate’ all the options, so we went with the few things we knew, namely langoustines, patatas bravas and croquetas de jamón, washed down with a bottle of white, we suddenly became almost fluent 🤣🤣🤣 It’s all so much easier when your mouth feels like it’s sliding off your face!

Walking back, we suddenly noticed that the horizon behind the campsite was full of golf balls – or gas cylinders. Hadn’t seen them at all when we drove in yesterday. At least we are looking in totally the opposite direction from the van.
