More Camping Lino

Uneventful day. It was very hot and the lowest temperature overnight is forecast to be 24c. We keep thinking that if the fan stops working we’ll have to head north immediately ‘cos Rufus won’t cope. He desperately needs a haircut, but if you even get the scissors out of the cupboard you could loose a finger! Guy went cycling and came back in a bit of a state as he had run out of water. Did a bit of cleaning but to no avail as Rufus dug himself a hole in the gravel then bought it all back in on his tummy. We had a bit of a swim this afternoon but the sea is only thigh deep – very warm though. Took Rufus into Cervo for an aperativo . He settled down so well in this restaurant, that we were just thinking of staying out to eat when an Italian couple came to sit on the table next to us, so we had to wake him up and move him. We were less than impressed as all of the other tables were empty! It wasn’t that they objected to the dog as they were asking how old he was etc but it felt like they had come and sat on our knee. We may go back tomorrow. Just had Spag Bol out of the freezer and I think all the kids have finished dinner as they’ve started doing the circuit on their scooters!
