It was threatening rain this morning with the odd roll of thunder. Nothing for it but to get the cleaning done .☹️ Hate doing it but always feels so much better afterwards.
Had planned to walk into town for Guy to get a haircut, but at the last minute decided we should go back and see the fishermen’s huts seeing as we missed most of them the other day. Forgot the ‘Jungle Formula’ and it suddenly warmed up. As we reached the top of a long path there seemed to be a few people wandering about lost.
Followed a narrow path to the Fishermen’s Island – felt like I should be wearing a safari suit! It was all closed off at the end unfortunately but Guy managed to get a couple of photos.
It was supposed to be a short loop back but once again there was a path closed off so ended up walking miles to get home.
We were stopped along the way by an Italian Lady asking if we could help her put her bike in the car !? Bit strange as I don’t know how she’d have done it without Guy’s help. It was difficult to explain “you stand back – I’ll put it in the car” …eventually, the penny dropped and she put a mask on whilst giving directions.
Decided to give the pool a whirl upon our return, seeing as the place is so much quieter. Just in time as they closed at 6 and hoofed us all out!
