Nothing exciting to report today other than an afternoon walk to the nature reserve. La Gola del Ter is where the river Ter meets the sea.
They are trying to save the sand dunes here which are gradually disappearing. Large areas are taped off but there are many paths, bird watching hides and designer seats to sit in the sunshine and watch the world go by!
We didn’t see many birds but it made a pleasant afternoon walk.
We’ve now decided to check out early in the morning so that we can park in Palafrugell thus saving Guy an extra sixteen miles on his bike ride! 😂🚲
