Long, long, driving day again. It just takes so much longer in a motorhome than a car. The roads were fairly busy to start with, but once the 12 o clock deadline passed, police started to appear at the peages. Fortunately, they just waved us through every time, but they were stopping all French vehicles and asking them the purpose of their trip. 
Even on the Périphérique in Paris, they stopped a whole carriageway causing great tail backs. Seems like France is two steps behind Spain and the UK will follow fairly soon.
Tried to find a parking spot near Wimereux that we’d been to before but decided we must have dreamt it! Still, got a nice place next to the sea, ready to head to Calais tomorrow for our crossing mid afternoon. Today and tomorrow are now totally booked up on the tunnel and they’re not cashing in at all with their extra £100 per trip! 🙄
