Cadiz today – wow! Really beautiful city. We came in over a spectacular bridge and parked in the port next to a huge cruise ship. Had a lovely walk around the narrow streets with cars and motorbikes blasting through the pedestrians. We think we saw some parrots in one of the trees …is this possible Mr Simpson? Then we came across a flamenco 💃 dancer although on closer inspection we wondered if ‘she’ was a ‘he’!!! …let us know what you think from the photo. Hoping for an easy day, we thought we’d stay on a campsite further down the coast, but after travelling round in circles all afternoon we discovered they were all closed. At one point we found we had negotiated the narrow streets of a small town only to arrive at the offices of Camping El Faro and the campsite was actually miles away (and closed)! Thankfully, we found this one by chance a little further down. We walked to the beach, which was a bit further than expected much to Rufus’ disgust. It was well worth it for the sunset and I’m sure in the Summer it must be a really busy place – very hippy surf shack style. Guy cooked Paella on the pull out grill thing and we are now sat outside in the dark with Rufus wondering if we are supposed to put our clocks back!
