Still in Alvor

We had planned to cycle/run again today but alas, the sun was shining and Rufus seemed quite lively. In fact, he nearly took out the awning when he got the neighbouring cat in his sights. Decided to walk to the beach in the hope that Doggo would find a shady spot and we might be able to sit there for five minutes. As it happened, he sat there a good three hours under the boardwalk, quite happy. It was really warm with a cooling breeze off the sea – perfect. Guy fell asleep in 0.4 milliseconds, despite the ten hours he had last night!! Had to buy some expensive beach sandwiches as we hadn’t expected to stay. Walked around the boardwalk which circled round the estuary and then back up through the town with an ice cream for sustenance. Honey and rosemary flavour was Guy’s choice 🤢…..not really an ice cream kind of flavour is it? Having a game of cards now -given up with Scrabble for a while as we can’t think of any long words.
