Turned into another driving day as Guy has his eyes firmly fixed on the snow capped mountains in the distance! We thought we’d go on smaller roads as it would be more scenic – it wasn’t and it took forever. After Memmingen we gave up and got on the motorway. Wow – do they go fast! Skirted around the bottom of Munich and out towards Saltzberg, then made our way to a motorhome site at a tennis centre that has washing machines.👍👍👍We’re in a place called Bernau am Chiemsee …it’s all very clean and sparkling with good views of the mountains. As for the aforementioned washing machines, we sorted out some tokens and I carefully google translated the program names as my brain has only retained completely useless words from my school German lessons (e.g. kugelschreiber!). Went to load it up when Guy pointed out that I was putting the washing into a tumble dryer. Not happy! I moved the clothes across to the right machine but the instructions were completely different so I put it on the program that looked right 3 hours later – 9:40 pm – it’s just finished!!!
