“Heavy cloud but no rain” yet today – shhhh! Thought we might stay on a campsite in Calp and walk up the rock, but when we got there it felt like the middle of a big city so we carried on.
Surprisingly, there was a lake with flamingoes on it in the middle of all the sky scrapers. Guy jumped out to get a photo, then put his camera on one of the seats at the back. Camera promptly jumped off the seat at the next traffic lights causing the husband to do an emergency stop, followed by a melt down. Fortunately, it has survived and Guy has recovered! 😬
The next Acsi campsite was further along the coast at Moraira. We thought it was closed as there was no-one else here. The owner said he’d been busy until the bad weather came and blew one of the big pine trees down…oh! He asked where we wanted to park but it wasn’t clear which bits were pitches and where you were supposed to drive through. Check-in then lasted a good twenty minutes with passports etc 😂
Two loads of washing done and strung up to get even more damp while we went for a walk along the seafront. It’s kind of a nice place but doesn’t really feel like Spain – might be something to do with the Irish bar and the English supermarket. At least chainsaw man has now finished chopping up the fallen tree. 😆
