A bit of shunting backwards and forwards to get out of the campsite this morning – so many trees!
We’d decided to head towards Venice, as a bit of research pointed towards the fact that it is less busy than usual due to the lack of cruise ships. Although we’d planned to stay on a campsite at Ca’Savio it suddenly dawned on me that we’d have several km’s walk even before we got the boat across to Venice.
In the end, we just drove in and parked at a motorhome site actually in Venice. Still ended up on a boat though as the monorail wasn’t working. More like a pleasure cruise in though.

It’s all so beautiful – think the photos speak for themselves. Certainly quieter than our last visits.

Think we’ve walked about ten miles – that’s what my back and feet are saying anyway. Lucky we managed to get back, as both our phone batteries were dying and it’s so easy to get lost around here.

Such a fab place. Can’t get enough of it.
Agreed!
