Disaster mid morning today đŹ. Following a costal road down to Tarifa we came to a dead end! Tried to turn around in a very small space by reversing up a hill. Guy driving, me watching the back. Although it looked like there was still space, the bottom of the Motorhome made a horrible grating noise. I forgot all the hand signals and Guy didnât understand what covering both eyes meant! We were well and truly stuck with another car waiting to get by…extremely stressful for el driver. Fortunately we got out with a bit of shunting and the husbands ability to stay calm after a bit of swearing! On to Tarifa where the Atlantic meets the Med and the world mecca for kite surfers…there were at least three! It was very windy and yes, we could see Africa! Tempted to go across but maybe another time ….not with Rufus. Back on the road through Algeciras to Gibraltar. Guy wasnât keen on the idea and we thought there may be big queues but we drove straight on, round, had lunch and off after purchasing some very cheap diesel. Didnât see the monkeys đ but think thatâs a good thing as we were told theyâre very territorial and Rufus may not have reacted well. Following the road to Marbella, we saw a few campers on a beach, so weâve parked up for the night next to the seađ
