Well, the ‘proper travellers’ that turned up last night with their huge caravans were exactly that! Several loud children and pets fell out, closely followed by a woman with a huge bunsen burner thing and a big cooking pan. Generators were plugged in, and that was it for us – time to move across to the other side of the carpark. Ended up next to their neighbours from the other side! Quiet night after that and an early start for us. Lots of armed police around at the Chunnel, which I find quite reassuring. Got on an earlier crossing and breezed home quite quickly. Soooo much stuff to unload. Rufus wagged his tail and raced in ..has been comatose ever since! Good news was that the £500 Punto started straight away – it’s a miracle!
Thanks, as always, to all who have read this or looked at the pictures. Back in July for the Scandinavian adventure hopefully. 😁

Glad you are home safely. Looking forward to hearing about Scandinavia. If all goes to plan, we should be off to Germany in July
