Started working our way up the coast this morning..well, that’s what we thought we were doing until we noticed the sea getting further and further away. Missed a turn off, and it took quite a while to get back to where we wanted to be! 🙄

We then had three attempts at getting out to the coast from the main road, but someone keeps putting olive trees in the way. Found a bit of parking for lunch in the end but not somewhere we wanted to stay.

Decided to give up on this bit of coast and turned inland. A two hour jaunt brought us up into the mountains on some of the best roads in Greece – until the last forty five minutes, then it got a bit technical.

Got my first proper job!

We’ve landed in the beautiful village of Stemnitsa which sits above the Loúsios Gorge where there’s a monastery or two clinging to the cliff faces.

It was starting to rain, so we walked into the village and up to a viewpoint instead of down into the valley. We can do the downhill bit tomorrow if it stops raining, although it’s quite funny watching clouds go past the kitchen window at eye level!
