Thank goodness we brought the washing in last night. Although there was no rain, the two beach parellas that we left out were dripping wet through this morning. There’s definitely a lot of moisture in the air overnight.

Decided to walk to Orebić as we had nothing to lie on anyway. It was hard going as it was really hot. Had to walk along the road for the first kilometre or so, but then there’s a nice beach path. Although, we’ve been here twice before, we’d forgotten that there’s nothing much here other than some nice villas that were built by sea captains many years ago. You can tell that it used to be a really prosperous place though – none of the properties are small. Can’t believe how many exotic plants are still flowering around here – even in the last week of October.

As we got back to the campsite, Guy said “Have you seen the babies next door?”
The lady next to us, apparently spends all day crocheting, making small doll like things, and they’re all laid out in the sunshine during the day ..bit weird.
“Have a look” says Guy, followed by “Noooo, don’t look now!!”
But it was too late. Klaus is walking around without any clothes 😳
“Don’t look Ethel… but it was too late, she’d already been mooned!”
I made a hasty retreat to the van to make lunch. I’m not so sure about this lovely campsite anymore 🤣
Had a swim this afternoon, then used the excuse of an empty fridge to eat at Camp Lavanda’s Acsi award winning restaurant.
Dubrovnik pork skewers and mixed grill skewers with grilled vegetables. You could have fed a family of six with one of our plates. Nice, but I think the award is for quantity. We were offered a doggy bag but I dont think we could finish it tomorrow either!
