First mistake of the day – fill up with diesel assuming it’s cheaper in Sweden than Denmark 🇩🇰🙄 To assume is to make an ‘ass’ out of ‘u’and ‘me’!
The Øresund Bridge was a bit of an anti-climax, but the weather was a bit grim, so not much to see. Pleased to report no dead bodies at the halfway point. 😬

The outskirts of the city didn’t look too promising – a bit grey and industrial. Parked up a few km out and got the super fast driverless tram in. The nice man that helped us sort tickets, suggested the best places to go and then (as they all do), asked what we thought of Brexit! 😂
Nice city, something to see on every corner. The painted buildings in the Nyhavn area were probably the best bit.
The Little Mermaid was a long walk out along the harbour. It was raining ‘that fine rain that soaks you through’! We can’t get our heads around people crowding around this tiny statue when there are scores of bigger, better things within the same square mile.
The main shopping street was full of stuff we couldn’t afford in a million years but I’d rather live this life, than that.
Had to re-fuel in a trendy juice bar as the price tags made us feel faint.
A massive coincidence has occurred, which means we are “out out” tonight. 🍷🕺👍👍👍 Niall – a retired fireman, who we met very briefly in Italy last year, roadies for a band called IQ and they happen to be playing here in Copenhagen this evening. He has very kindly furnished us with “access all areas” tickets, so see you tomorrow folks cos we’re off out. 😂
