We had a sunny walk along the prom prom prom this morning to see the brilliant Eric Morecambe statue. There are references to him all over the town and I still had to laugh at some of the jokes written into the paving around the statue. Guy went for a northern haircut while I wandered a bit further along.
We then tried to fill up with water at the local Morrison’s petrol station. Had to put two wheels up on the kerb and keep disconnecting the hose every time a car came out of the car wash…eventually, we got it full then went to a campsite where we can just fill up on our own pitch! 🙄Did well to get the last spot though and expected to end up by the toilet block but got a huge flat pitch with hedges all round.
Got the washing on and pegged out then went for a walk along the canal into Carnforth.
Not much there although we did spot a little stuffed dog in a shop window for £215!!! A Steiff one I think. Cheaper than a real one these days though…this could be the answer. No pet passport required!
