First stop, further up Loch Lomond for services. We were quite surprised to find a proper motorhome servicing area but unfortunately, it had a tap that no hose fitting on earth would connect to. Ever resourceful, Mr Bramley came up with the idea of using our 5 litre drinking water bottles and filling directly into the tank from inside the van. Took a little while but eventually, the 120 litre tank was full again.

Pulled in at the Bridge of Orchy, which was beautiful plus the sun was warm for a while.

Got our Mach Loop moment when what we think was a Hercules flew over really low.

Had lunch near Black Rock Cottage at the Glencoe Mountain Resort then followed a very long single track road to Loch Etive. Along the way we passed an area where Skyfall was filmed …if I’ve seen it, I can’t remember it though 😂😬

The little car park here is rammed with camper vans – I don’t know how Guy squeezed our big white box in but he somehow did, and even got a “Bravo” from an onlooker. We’re on a severe tilt though, so decided to try out the new ramps. I think the ground is just too rocky as one broke on impact. Reverted to old yellow ones, which also broke as they shot out the back…much smell of burning clutch 😬

Sat on the little beach for a while. A couple of hard people went in to swim 🥶Guy did a toe test and said it was warm on the edge…I never know when he’s telling the truth these days!
