Woke up to brilliant sunshine so decided to stay at the beach till after lunch. When it’s out, the sun seems quite fierce at the moment – certainly compared to last September, it’s almost instaburn!
Had a swim, so I’m one up on Guy. He was busy trying to steal our neighbour’s dog.
After lunch we’ve driven along the coast a little bit further to the small town of Dhiakoftó. There’s an old rack-and-pinion railway that runs from here up into the Vouraikos gorge and we have tickets for tomorrow morning. The plan is to go half way up and walk back – supposed to be quite spectacular.

Late afternoon, we’ve walked along the seafront for a while, then stopped for an iced coffee in the shade – well, I did. Guy chewed on a Greek coffee but left the sludge at the bottom. 😂

We’re actually parked at the train station along with a few others. It was so quiet this afternoon you could have heard a pin drop. Now, of course, every scooter boy in town is revving up! 😂
