Alvor – Camp Bramley

Another day in Alvor! Had a cleaning day ….still no vacuum cleaner 😢Don’t think they sell them in Portugal. Carpet over the washing line for a brush. Guy washed Rufus’ mat by hand – he prefers his proper bed anyway. Huge load of washing on in a machine that just starts again the minute it’s finished and doesn’t let you open the door – it’s VERY clean now. Went for the first run in 3 weeks …nearly sick when I got to the campsite entrance (on the way out that is!) -it was uphill! Tried the campsite showers in an attempt to save our water so we don’t have to move the van to fill up. “Press black button for free hot water”- tempted to join in with the Portuguese graffiti hobby and add “if you’re very lucky!” underneath in red pen. Senhor Bramley went out on his bike then we walked down to Alvor with Rufus to get some lens cleaner for his camera (Guy’s not Rufus’)which has a black spot on it. So, tonight, only one photo taken with his phone. It’s another ‘bods’ nest for my brother…can you giss wad it is yit???
