No cycling for Guy today – he’s now got ‘the cough’! It was only a matter of time I suppose.
We’ve moved the motorhome up two levels and spent half an hour sitting in glorious sunshine this morning. Even got a sea view!
After an early lunch we set off towards ‘La Fosca’ beach and then walked in the opposite direction to yesterday. It was so warm! Of course, I’ve got black leggings on, two long sleeved tops and a jacket 🙄If I’d put shorts on, it would have snowed! People were on the beach sunbathing and a few even braved the sea!
We thought we knew all this area so well, but after following the coastal path for a mile or so, we came across Cala s’Alguer – a beautiful cluster of colourful fishing cottages that neither of us can remember seeing before.
Further along was the big sweep of Cala de Castell and we continued up on to the next headland to get a better view.
On the way back, it suddenly got really windy. We sat down in a little beach bar for a drink when there was a sudden gust and a whole table blew over including glasses and a plate of freshly cooked mussels!
Now back at our ‘level 3’ parking, we’re questioning the wisdom of moving higher up. High up = high winds. Close all the hatches 😬
