Looking towards Cadiz

Thought we’d do a campsite for a couple of days, get the washing done then maybe visit Cadiz tomorrow. So much for that idea – it has rained big time this afternoon. 🙄The trouble with campsites, especially bigger ones like this, is all the faff on arrival. Passports, maps, rules, where’s this, where’s that? Lucky to get a space here, it was completely rammed last time we came. Drained the water etc drive up to meet the man who shows you where to park. Down the end of a tight cul-de-sac. As we hadn’t seen fresh water elsewhere, we wrongly assumed it was on the pitches. “Oh, no it’s back there – turn left, turn right” etc. Then on top of that, there’s all the regulars who stand and stare at you like you’re a couple of aliens moving in. 😬

Still, it was warmish so we managed to have lunch outside to the sound of diggers opposite, making a new camping area. Then the rain came. Everyone moved inside and there was nothing else for it…”by order of the Peaky Blinders” 😂

Managed a walk in the evening when it cleared up. There’s a beautiful beach with palm trees but although looking out to sea, you can see Cadiz, there’s also a lot of industrial stuff so you need the blinkers on.
