Drove back towards the coast this morning with a minor panic as we watched the fuel gauge slip towards empty. As we were driving through the middle of nowhere it would have become a big problem had the Cepsa garage not come in to view …big sigh of relief. €1.23 per litre – slightly more expensive than some places but still cheap compared to the UK and France. We’ve come to this Acsi site just south of Valencia with the idea of getting the bus into the city tomorrow. It’s quite a nice quiet place – not many motorhomers here. Guy took off on his bike to get some miles in as it’s flat all around – suits him better than hills. 😬 Rufus and I went for a walk but he was more interested in getting back to base as he’d seen the camp cat. As he sat straining to see the black fluffy thing walking past the van, the birds moved in and started helping themselves to his kibble. Poor dog can’t win! The photographer has let me down, so here’s a picture of the fed up donkey from yesterday…
We learned yesterday that this is a burro not a cabaillos! 😁🐴
